think - write - type

Call me the traditional blogger or whatever it is I’m called but not a writer. A struggling one maybe but not quite there yet. I wrote that title because when it comes to writing, I still have to write it on a sheet of paper then transfer it. I cannot and I must confess that I cannot write my thought directly sitting in front of computer. Looking at the screen and typing and typing and typing is a no-no to me. Of course I can do that but it will just be a short and petty composition. It lacks the substance and the thought that I really wanted and what I can create had it been written on a piece of paper and pen. I don’t have that talent, I guess and that’s what I am trying to hone by trying to do this one step at a time. Maybe not now but hopefully soon. I still like how I create m y piece and I really don’t think that I will ever get rid of it. Besides, we all started writing our very own masterpiece using a pen and paper. I like it better this way and I feel that I’d be able to improve myself.

It’s been ages since I logged in. I’ve been very busy about some things and found no time to blog at all. It’s all in my head. Anyway, it’s very earthy and urban. I think I’ll be inspired to write.

One thing more, let me introduce my new toy. It’s new for me but not for others and I don’t care. I have this thing for vintage and old school. I feel in love with beauty the first time I saw it. Had no money when I first saw it but I told myself, if this is for me then when I have the dough, it will still be there.

So here she is... :)

It's not like what you see though, she has some scratches due to old age i think. But i love her. I think we will enjoy our time together.

This is my first time to join a fun run. it's fun and a lot of people went there to cooperate for this event to be successful. I ran for 3KM only but I’m proud of the result. My only warm up was two Saturdays before the actual event itself. I will be doing more of this and yoga, of course! :)

What a good way to celebrate Earth day! I can't believe I'm running for 3KM this coming sunday. My partner, the ever reliable Mike, helped me with my running. We started last April 3 and last April 11. My final warm-up will be on April 17, a day before the event itself. My good friend Mariel is also running with me. :) Yey!
My goal is to be healthy this year. Lose those flabby stomach, gain endurance and balance. Im also doing yoga at home, since I don't have enough dough to go back to the Shala :( as I'm saving up for our upcoming trip overseas.

Beekeeping

I've been reading a lot lately. Most of them about bees or anything with the word Bee on them. Maybe it's true that if you want something, the universe will help you make that happen.

Yesterday, I was able to get a copy of The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. The cover is the original one, i think! Prior to that, I got a copy of my favorite movie "The Bee Season". I feel like that of the brother, who is out searching for truth the only difference is that, I found mine.

Because of this, a family relative who's into Beekeeping is selling his harvest. I am commissioned to sell his honey. I will post them here as soon as I have them!
